For dd's Marriage Celebration, we both became obsessed with the idea of each of us rocking a fierce knuckle clutch for the after party, and we searched high and low, locally and on the internet until we each found one we loved and could afford since the originals run $2-4k! Listed on the journalling mat are some of our favorite stops on our trek, often getting easily distracted by shiny things and adding to our ensembes. The quotes are from a favorite fem-film, Steel Magnolias, focusing on both it's fashion themes and mother/daughter themes. I designed the lo along the lines of a fashion Inspiration Board, with a random brad 'pinning' of items liked; the journalling mat is distressed, inked and mod podged, I'm sure that the partial framing of the bottom left photo highlighting us holding our knuckle clutches is a technique others have used before now that I think of it, but not having actually seen it I happily claim the happy-squee when I thought if it, lol. Tfl.
