Thankies for the compliments girls, I appreciate them. As for what else....Where you see the brown edging, there is a certain brown riber/fiber/thingy (lmao..i can visualize it, but don't know what its called), that i'm going to put instead of the paper. I'm also planning on using something different for the handle. Im going to put a thin ribbon around the top part. (all picnic baskets like this i've ever owned, had red cloth around the top). I'm thinking also of adding to button like thingys (i really need to learn terminology..lmao), on the "lid" of the basket, and on the basket itself, and do the "roping" of them together.....umm..something else, can't think. Does that sound ok, or like too much? I'll post another pic when I get it finished. I'd finish it tonight, but I have few "items" i need to buy to finish it. Anyways...so far no one else has joined the swap.... I'm doing the barbecue/picnic one.
