A beautiful page!! Love the paper and the colors. the flowers are great! How did you do them? Reality does bite! This page made me think of when my kids left home for the first time. I guess it's one of the parts of life we don't like at all, but we have to accept. Not an easy thing to do!
I've had these two photos printed up to scrap for a long time. I just haven't wanted to scrap them up.
The car is her first - a hand me down gift from her grandfather. The day is the day she left for her first official duty post - Fort Rucker, Alabama. The moment is the moment she really, truly, finally left home for good - September 23, 2010.
I knew when I was taking the photos what the moment was, but by not scrapping them, it was like I could hold onto that moment and pretend it hadn't happened yet. ...
Reality bites.

Layout #3 for my StampinUp workshop. The flowers are two different sizes of scallop punches, snipped in at the petals and then shaped with my flower kit tweezers.
