I agree with darlinscrappe and Leslie O-no idea what utee is and Im not new but dont buy every product. My first one that I loved and was innovative (both my kids and my dd first easter in one) took me at least 3 hrs and partly because I am a perfectionist and at scrapbooking Im very indecisive. Its hard to be happy with yours if you look at so many other people's LO's. Just remember, yours is your own work, at your present skill level and if it is from your heart-its awesome, better than any scrap lift!
I love your tree, but I'm such a newbie I have no clue what UTEE is. Please don't laugh, just enlighten me! I think 3 hrs. is pretty good. Does that include the planning stage, too?
Great job! This is a very cute lo. I really like the tree and the ornament! 3 hours is good for me. i have gotten a little faster than when I first started, but I'm a super indecisive person, and a bit of a perfectionist, so I don't think I'll ever be a fast scrapper. I love my pages though, so thats all that really matters! Good luck with your speed! Enjoy it!
I love it Kelly. Love the different matts for photos and the tree. Emily is so cute. Just wait till this Christmas. She'll be getting into the boxes and putting bows on her head! :) I am very slow. The only way I can do a lo in 3 hours is if the photos are already resized and I know what pp I'm going to use. You are doing great!
This is darling - love that little ornament. My LO's will always take me at least 3 hours. Sometimes alot longer. I'll have 2 or 3 going at one time as I usually have to walk away from them.
GREAT layout!!! 3 hours is good for me...usually it takes me between 4-5 hours depending on how complicated i get...and weather i have a design in mind ;) You did a wonderful job though...love the christmas tree and the christmas ornament with the picture inside it!!! :)
Very cute! That tree looks awesome. 3 hours isn't a bad length of time for 1 LO. Sometimes it takes me days to put one together! It is mostly because I'm a neurotic perfectionist though. LOL!
So sweet! It definitely doesn't look like a newbie LO! Great job! And yes, 3 hours is perfectly normal. You may or may not get faster in time, but it doesn't really matter. :D
I think you did an amazing job! I love the rub ons for the title and the tree really adds to the layout. Great job!!! And believe me....3 hours to do a layout is nothing :)
This is our 1st Christmas with Emily. The photo on the right is the Christmas Card that we sent out (I took the photo myself!) and I journaled on the back. The green plaid on the bottom of the Christmas Card photo is a pocket I made. This is my 1st time using rub ons (title) and UTEE (edges of tree). I love the rub ons, need more practice with the UTEE. It took me 3 hours to do this layout, I hope because I am a newbie and not because I am a neurotic perfectionist. lol Please take a second and let me know what you think. Thanks! Kelly
