So my dear dark sister Mandy aka Crafty Sprinkles created a LO of her daughter entitled "Little Red" and I immediately thought of my Waterhouse pic I have been saving for the perfect time. So, I had to lift the design, it was exactly what I wanted for "The Crystal Ball". Thanks to you Miss Mandy for the inspiration. I am in awe every month of all the talent at Scraps Of Darkness, whether it be the design team or those of us who subscribe. Melinda puts kits together that make us drool and stalk for the next round each and every month. So, with that said, I used my kit from April "Sakurabana". I have so many faves in this kit, it's hard to pick one, but the black and red oh my! I also incorporated a dusty attic piece which I inked black and then embossed with Lindy's candy cane red embossing powder from our color add on of the month. Renea used that technique on some lettering, and I thought it looked amazing, so I just had to use it here since the colors were perfect. Come check the dark side sometime for those of you who haven't and prepare for oodles of inspiration!
