So, here's what happened.... I was on the way to town yesterday for a work appointment, and I was about 10 minutes from my house. I live in the country and I was on an isolated road, no houses around. I saw a dead kitten in the road, and THEN I saw this other little baby. OH NO! So I stopped in the road... no danger... there is like one car every hour... and I get out of the car and walk towards this kitten and she runs to me crying! What could I do??? I mean, really? What could I do but take her home to my other four kittens? I picked her up and took her home. She is maybe a week or two younger than mine. She was obviously dropped by a BAD owner. She didn't really know how to eat or drink, so I think she was just taken from her mother and dropped on this isolated road. She seems kind of shell shocked. She doesn't show hardly any emotion at all. My kittens tried playing with her yesterday and she just sat there. Today, when they tried playing with her, she growled at them, which I actually thought was an improvement. At least she was showing some emotion. She is attached to me and wants to sit on my lap, but never purrs. I hope when she realizes she is loved and feels secure, she will be happy. I hope she gets over the trauma that has been her very short life thus far. BTW, she is the black kitten with the scared eyes. My other kittens have accepted her, as you can tell by this photo, even though she is not friendly toward them. Poor little thing... I don't have a name yet. Maybe Annie... as in Little Orphan Annie.

I am officially the crazy cat lady. But I still have fewer cats than Rochelle (Cricut OCD)!! haha!
