What an angel you are! My heart would have melted the minute I saw her coming towards me crying...poor little thing. But now she is safe in a loving home! Great photo.
I don't think either of you have more cats than my daughter, lol. Bless you for rescuing this sweet baby, and I need to go back to your gallery, I see lots of kitten pics that I've missed!
you have such a big heart and i know how you feel about people just leaving kittens to fend for themselves. that is how i got my oreo and am actually greatful for that. animals bring such joy into a person's life. she will come around when she is ready and comfortable.
Cookie, so sweet of you to give this beautiful little girl a second chance at life. She will come around. Took my Chancie ( as in second chance) quite a while to come around when we brought her home from the shelter but now she is the most affectionate cat I've ever had. Good luch with all 5 of your kittys....
Awwww...Poor Baby! She is so pretty. Her eyes look nice and clear. She'll come around. God only knows what she's been through and I'm sure she was very afraid. It's so good that you found her. Hey, what's one more!! lol
Awww...she looks so precious and adorable on that pink blanket!! Someone else had a lo yesterday with an abandoned baby pet...thank God the lady took the pet home with her, just as you did! She will get used to being loved, wonderful of you to give her a home!!
So, here's what happened.... I was on the way to town yesterday for a work appointment, and I was about 10 minutes from my house. I live in the country and I was on an isolated road, no houses around. I saw a dead kitten in the road, and THEN I saw this other little baby. OH NO! So I stopped in the road... no danger... there is like one car every hour... and I get out of the car and walk towards this kitten and she runs to me crying! What could I do??? I mean, really? What could I do but take her home to my other four kittens? I picked her up and took her home. She is maybe a week or two younger than mine. She was obviously dropped by a BAD owner. She didn't really know how to eat or drink, so I think she was just taken from her mother and dropped on this isolated road. She seems kind of shell shocked. She doesn't show hardly any emotion at all. My kittens tried playing with her yesterday and she just sat there. Today, when they tried playing with her, she growled at them, which I actually thought was an improvement. At least she was showing some emotion. She is attached to me and wants to sit on my lap, but never purrs. I hope when she realizes she is loved and feels secure, she will be happy. I hope she gets over the trauma that has been her very short life thus far. BTW, she is the black kitten with the scared eyes. My other kittens have accepted her, as you can tell by this photo, even though she is not friendly toward them. Poor little thing... I don't have a name yet. Maybe Annie... as in Little Orphan Annie.
I am officially the crazy cat lady. But I still have fewer cats than Rochelle (Cricut OCD)!! haha!
