Elaine is the most extrovert of my 3 cousins - as the round photo of her at the wedding car demonstrates. The story of the little page boy and flower girl: Elaine wanted something different, so my mom made my little cousin and my brother outfits from peach checkered material, and they wore little canvas shoes. They were name "The Railway Kids", all these years later, they still haven't lived it down.
The checks of their outfits was the inspiration for the stitching pattern.
