What a fun project to alter. Picture this without the crystals, white paint, and pink paint. This was a black piece with a purple candle jar I got at my local $1.50 store. It looked so plain for so long that I almost decided to give it away. Before I did that I knew I could change it. So, I turned it shabby chic. It's so pretty now! :) I painted the jar a Shabby Chic pink color, and painted the base holder white. I sealed it with a Matte Finish spray. I then super glued these extra crystals around the edges. It looks so Shabby Chic, and I love it.
