This is a page kit designed for a Father's Day swap hosted by Sally, aka- Lookin4newideas.
Each kit must contain: 2 - 8x8 themed papers 2 - 8x8 matching cardstock 3 - handmade goodies to match the papers 2 - 12" ribbons to coordinate with the papers OR 1 - 24" ribbon 1 - Handmade bling item
I created a charm w/a tag that uses silver letter beads spelling-DAD, for my "bling" item. The flowers are hand-made using burlap, velvet ribbon and a flattened black glass marble, because I know some need to have a flower for a page to feel finished. I also crafted a banner.
I love the Deja Views Little Yellow Bicycle journal pockets. They don't have one for Father's Day, so I created one using different fonts on my computer. There is a close up view in my gallery.
I didn't want to use the common things like tools or ties or cars. I also avoided fishing and sports because my DH isn't into those activities. I think the elements I made will make this easy to use and be very versatile. Because every dad is unique!
Happy page crafting to my pal! To everyone else, TFL!!
