Photo of my Grandfather with my Mother when she was about 4 or 5 (I think). I used some BoBunny Back to the Basic collection and added some pops of red. The title letters are some old Thickers from my stash. I punched some circles and made a small banner for embellishments and added a small flower cluster on the bottom. I used some pearls and bling for the centers. I also found some really old black bling swirls in my stash and added them in. The scalloped border was cut with a QK die and I added some liquid pearl dots. Background is a greyish white color. Super simple layout. Journaling is tucked behine the photo and reads:
This is a photo of my Mama (Ruth Pace Perdue) with her Daddy (your great-granddaddy). My Granddaddy was born in 1873, and my Mama was born in 1925. I’m not sure of the date of this photo, but it looks like Mama might have been about 4 or 5 years old. That would mean that Granddaddy would have been about 57 years old when this photo was taken. She was my Granddaddy’s baby girl and she lived at home with her parents until she married my Daddy on December 7, 1945.
