This is Katie - the 2 print papers are the uglies from Debby- the angel sticker is the embellie. I thought the sticker was appropriate as I lost Katie in 2006- we had her since 1994- never quite sure how old she was as she was grown when we got her & post at least 1 litter of kittens. A couple had taken her in during the ice storm we had at the end of 1993- pregnant and not far from delivery. They lived in an apartment & their landlord was gracious enough to say once the kittens were weaned- all went to new homes or they could move out to keep them. So all the kittens went to homes & she went to a lady who got her as a companion for her cat. She must not have known anything about having multiple cats as she expected them to share a litter box and water bowl. Her cat would not accept Katie & so she put her up for adoption at the Cat Shoppe in Cool Springs. We had mouse issues at our new home & went looking for a CAT to help with the problem. I saw her picture in the adoption book & had to meet her. The lady met us in a Target shopping center parking lot- I picked her up- no claws- wanted down, but didn't fight. I said thank you very much, we'll take her. She was a great mouser- very loving- I often called her Precious Princess & Pretty Blue Eyes as she was poised like royalty and had the prettiest blue eyes (can't really tell in these pics due to the glare). She looked just like the lynx point Siamese I had growing up. Every now and then, I think I see her out of the corner of my eye- just a flash of white (all my other animals now are gray & black)- so she is my angel kitty.
