Cool car!! Bet your dad just LOVES this lo!! Perfect title since it IS guy stuff. Guys NEVER refer to cars as 'cute'. Also, as a 'chevy' person myself, LOVE the "built ford tough with chevy stuff". LOL!
Leanne...THIS IS AWESOME!!!! I am sure you Dad loved that you were focused on his "baby" for you LO :) I love the simplicity too because that car is definately a beauty to look at! ;)
geez Leanne! I am so loving your simple pages! Makes me wanna go and try some! Definitely no changes here! Would love to see the photo with your dad tho'! Cool cool page!
Fun lo! and even though it is similar to your moms, it is still different enough that it doesn't feel like a duplicate to me. You could maybe add 2 stips of pp on the top left and bottom right that only go partway across the page. or even create a couple photo corners in those spots. Nothing too bold though because you want the car to still pop like it does now.
I have to agree. I really like how this is. The car just pops off the white. I was really impressed at your journaling, I was like WOW! She knows her cars, LOL!! If you HAVE to have any embellishments, maybe something leather to keep it manly, like leather cord (you can find it in jewelry sections) instead of ribbon? But I really think it's fantastic the way it is.
VERY COOL CAR and I Love how the LO stays so simple that the car really shines through but at the same time the design really enhances the Photo! EXCELLENT!!!
Cool car. Reminds me of that song (Was it Johnny Cash) about the car the guy built by stealing parts one at a time from work: "It was a '55,'56,'57,'58..." I think the car itself begs for a big yield sign, but the colors are wrong for your layout. What about some diagrams or engine schematics?
BTW, I have no idea what most of that means. :) Oh, and the "27RDSTR" on the tab is the liscence plate number. I know that this is the same as the last lo I did, but it's so quick and easy I couldn't help myself. It does feel a little too bare, though. Any non-cutesy embellishment ideas would be appreciated. :)
This is a lo of my Dad's roadster that he built. The tab pulls out a hidden pic of my Dad in the car and on the back of it will be journaling about his journey building it. The journaling on the front is easier to read IRL. This is what it says:
