This is a page for my page-a-week album about last week. We had such a busy week and did so much stuff that I had to use more than one picture, so the main pic lifts up and there's several more pictures under there as well as the journaling. Top picture is my boys giving me mother's day kisses. :)

Journaling reads:
This has been a week of remembering we are blessed, of enjoying our family. Sunday was Mohter's Day, and art splurged on a beautiful orchid corsage for me to wear to church. The whole day was a reminder of the importance of my role as Mom and a huge encouragement that I am not alone.
Wednesday we took advantage of our membership and spent the morning at Living History Farms. The boys had so much fun seeing the animals and old barns-- and of course riding behind the big tractor. They even got ot help the ladies at the 1850 farmhouse bring in the firewood. It was an exhausting day but lots of fun.
Saturday was our 6th wedding anniversary, and we shared the day as a family. In the morning we went to the butterfly garden (no butterflies yet, but several neat birds and lots of beautiful flowers) and then walked on the paths by the lake. Ryan had his first experiencee using a tree as a toilet, which was funny. And we got to see some boats on the lake.
In the afternoon we took the boys to the fire station open house. They got to sit in the firetrucks and touch the ladders and hoses, which of course made Ryan's day. In the evening we barbecued and ate in the shady corner of the backyard, then took a walk around campus. It was a peaceful end to a busy-- but very blessed-- week.
