I made the journaling into a little book. The journaling reads: "Going to the Bird Cage Theatre was a great experience. The stories were fascinating. Like the story of Wyatt Earp's hat coming off the mannequin. Something would always take Wyatt Earp's hat off and it would land on the floor. Then they moved the mannequin and the hat throwing stopped. There are about 20 bullets in the ceiling. I loved walking around the Bird Cage. I can still see everything in the theatre. The musty smell and can almost hear the sound of horses, spurs hitting the wooden floors, and the smell of gun powder in the air. That is what the Bird Cage makes me think of. Its called the Bird Cage Theatre because it has 14 bird cage cribs. The cages were for men who paid girls to spend the day with them and it also included beer. Everything in the Bird Cage is all original except for the electricity. The best part of the whole tour was when we went behind the Tombstone curtain and there is a circle of chairs. We all sat down and then they turn off the lights and you sit in the darkness and listen. I remember hearing foot steps behind me. That sent chills all over me. What a neat experience it was being in the Bird Cage Theatre! The guide's name was Nova and she was a great guide. The Bar Room still has its original mirror behind the bar. The mirror was transported from Germany and it came in a lot of different pieces because it was so big. So, it traveled by boat, train, and then by wagon the rest of the way. When it finally made it to Tombstone, Arizona, it all made it in one piece. I thought that was pretty neat. We liked doing the ghost tour so much, we came back again the following year. I never get tired of the same stories at Bird Cage Theatre."
