This was a fun one for me! This was from our Punta Cana trip last October, and the same guy who suckered me into the monkey photos found us on the beach to take photos with the parrot. Nina LOVED it, as you can tell. :)

With all the bold colors, I was looking for the perfect PP to use -- you would think that would be easy, right? But with all the color in the photos, any PP in the background was too distracting, or it was just too off. So I decided to make white and kraft the background, and just use the PP as accents -- that's a new technique for me!

I used a Mr. Huey's mask (Bubbles) and chalked up the mask. I LOVE the effect -- it's very airbrushed looking, and gives a subtle touch of color.

For the title, I used an old Creative Memories journal template that I bought for a quarter at a garage sale. I got a great tip from cardofmyeye on YouTube to place the alphas on a piece of transparency in the format you want to position them, then pull the transparency out. The result is letters that are perfectly in place -- or at least you find out that you don't have enough room before they go down on paper!

Sketch is from Nuts About Sketches - July 5, 2012. I turned the sketch 90 degrees, and repositioned the photos, given the sizes I had to work with.
