Pop N Cuts Flower Card

Pop 'n Cuts are SIC! "S" is for SIMPLE - all of the Pop 'n Cuts are cut and scored by the machine. They fold easily, leaving plenty of time for the fun part - decorating! "I" is for INTERCHANGEABLE - you purchase a Base A2 Card Kit first (it comes with your first pop-up insert, the Circle Label) and after that you only need to purchase new magnetic inserts (the guts) to change out the pop-up design. "C" is for COORDINATING - you will find a coordinating Sizzlits or Movers & Shapers set that fits every one of the Pop 'n Cuts inserts. These additional dies can be used on their own or will perfectly coordinate with the Pop 'n Cuts pop-up shapes.
This Pop-up 2torial is all about the Pop 'n Cuts Flower insert and the coordinating Hello Sizzlits set. I also used the new Birds on a Wire Sizzlits Decorative Strip. The Hello Sizzlits set includes the Funky Flowers Sizzlits, which is sized perfectly to decorate the Pop 'n Cuts Flower insert.

The flowers look great layered at odd angles on the pop-up insert, OR there is a way that the flowers can be arranged to perfectly fit the pop-up with just a slight shadow. However, figuring out which Sizzlits flower goes with which pop-up flower can be a challenge once you've die-cut them and they've scattered across your table!

I suggest making yourself a little cheater "go-by" sample (or just print out mine, shown above). For projects where you want to make perfectly lined-up flowers, you'll need to pay attention to the die-cutting. The paper should be die-cut FACE UP on the Pop 'n Cut insert and FACE DOWN on the Sizzlits. (Or vice versa, so whichever one you die-cut first, do the opposite for the other die)
