This is my first official layout for which I used the Silhouette!

Chaplin was my sweet kitty for 13 years. I felt she deserved a page of her own. This is also for the VLB challenge to use an "old" photo -- the photo on the left is from 1999 or so.

I used the Silhouette for the title. I wanted the colors in the letters to be the same as those in the Lily Bee Designs Buttercup collection, so I pulled in an on-line image of one of the pieces of the collection and used the color picker tool in the fill feature to capture the exact coding for the yellow and blue. I then used the off-set feature and colored the letters in the blue, and the offset in the yellow, then cut the whole title out and pop-dotted it. I need to get on starting a blog, and will include the details on how to do this.

Sketch started off based on Scrapbooks Etc., but then I did my own thing.

I also now have a Mister Huey's fetish! I guess since I have the Silhouette and don't need to buy as many stickers, dies and alphas, I can focus my scrappy money elsewhere. ;) I purchased the Mister Huey's elsewhere, and the color names are different, but I tagged the closest colors I could find in the super store.
