This is my Round Robin entry this month.

I did a lift of Sarahmacnificent's Sugar and Spice layout which you can see here.

I had a lot of fun creating this, and I think that as much as I struggled with the mask and the decorative snow paste and the misting, it turned out ok. I'm at least motivated to continue to TRY to get this misting/masking thing down.

I changed Sarah's banner from flags to pinwheels, and I took the envelope out of play because I couldn't figure out how to fit one on here without it looking like the two of them were looking at the envelope! People who know me KNOW I don't sew, so the stitching has been replaced with some baby boy blue ric-rack

My new motto is this: I'm done waiting for that "something special" to use my paper and products, because I've learned that if I wait, I'll never use it. I will use it TODAY, because tomorrow, there will be some new product that I'm going to want to use instead and the thing I love today will just sit in my stash abandoned and forgotten.

Case in point : This paper line.

Since I'm trying to do my darling nephew's book without buying any new product, I've been rummaging through my stash stack, digging for treasures that will work for little boy baby pages. I was so excited when this package filtered its way to the top because I'd forgotten I even HAD it.

It's from Daisy D's, a company so old that it's no longer in business. I bought this page kit very early on in my scrapbooking career, and I've had it for at least four, possibly five, years.

That's just sick. To hoard something for so long waiting for something special to use it on. But on the other hand, it looks SO perfect for Brady Boy's album that I'm happy I waited. I guess I did end up using it for something special after all.

Meegan, you're up! Have fun!
