So very heartwarming!!!! I love your hexagon shapes (I have a really old template with different shapes I almost got rid of a long time ago, so glad I didn't) & the little envelope really give this a vintage feel! Fab color combo & design!!!!!
GREAT photo - priceless family treasure, wonderfully scrapped. Your hexagons are WONDERFUL - i can't believe you cut them all by hand - now that's true dedication.
Lovely layout, and the hexagons are a very wonderful addition, they add so much to the design!!! That's a sweet photo of you with your Grandma, and the little envelope on the upper right corner of it is a darling addition!
Layout for the Heritage Challenge hosted my Martica. Used the "twist" of having red, white, & blue included. Don't you "love" the fact that Grandma & I have matching outfits! Which is why the picture is in B & W, the floral fabric was mostly orange which did not look great with the color scheme planned for the LO. I so wanted to incorporate the "hexagon" shape in my design, and not having a punch or die-cut, I hand-cut all of them out as well as their background hexagons for the red & blue patterned hexagons. The design of this LO was inspired by a LO featured on FB: http://websterspages.typepad.com/webstershome/2012/07/hexagons-park-drive-a-match-made-in-heaven.html
