This is my take on Week 3 of the July Sketch Challenge with the twist. I was able to attend a crop on Friday and part of Saturday. This is my first go at journaling...I was nervous but love the way it turned out. I scraplifted the idea of strips of paper from a fellow scrapper on here (I'm sorry, I'd give you props but I don't remember who it was). Also, I used the July Monthly Kit, Strawberry fields for all the embellies and pp (except the little yellow flower in the corner. The journaling reads "These are the adult family members I grew up with and love dearly - they are my youth! Aunt Jean & Uncle Chum (top), Grandma "Tip" (middle picture, front, center), Aunt Mert & Uncle Loyal (bottom). They were all kind, warm, loving souls who created who I am today!" I should have added they were good Christian people. This lo was very different for me and stretched my creatively. Enjoy.
