Leaving Northport

My dh and i were moving from Northport NY to California for his job. This is taken at a family get together his sister had for us at her house. It was close to July 4th so we set off some fireworks. The pictures on the outer edges are from Prima. Theyre from '08 , so i guess too old to be available. Theyre from collage sheets. i used liquitex modeling paste to make the texture, and Utee. The black trim on the bottom and top is an idea i got from someone here , i cant remember. They used it and i really liked it. Black tulle on l and r sides ripped from halloween costume. Just bought some but its not as fine, dang. Blue beads on stickpin from my sis. Ok dont know why i feel i have to say this but ive been using tulle from that Halloween cape on a bunch of layouts. I think i had bought 6 yds of black cotton and 6 yds of tulle,cut it in half . The capes 9 ft long. The drama of whirling that thing around while on me was quite satisfying,lol. I had layered the tulle on top of the cotton. Last Halloween i put it on a opened up 6ft stepladder. It was one creepy witch in the end and startled me every time i walked by it, it was in my entryway. When i opened the door to the trick or treaters, there it was for them to stare at. Mainly they just wanted the candy though. I was kind of hoping for screams of terror(just kidding) I think the blue beads and acrylic gems look better on this one. I was just in time to catch the last light in the yard.
