Wow...that is a long pier! I'd like to take a walk on the pier too. Like Linny, my first thought was snow!

I took G down Pier Marquette, I was happy to see the new lights and life preservers along the way. This is a really long peir that goes about half a mile out into Lake Michigan every year some knucklehead dives in off the rocks and needs to be rescued. At least now the rescuers don't need to put themselves in peril too.
