Whenever we are on overseas cruises we change time zones frequently and little cards are left in our stateroom as a reminder to change our clocks.
By the end of a cruise I always have a collection and never know what to do with them. I decided to turn the ones from this past cruise into a collage and use them for background paper.
I glued a the cards all over a piece of cardstock and then cut the edges of the cardstock on all 4 sides. It was great for a background and I made good use of all these little cards!
Here is the journaling:
Monday, November 14th, 2011 – A day of packing and saying good-bye to new friends and acquaintances as well as past cruise buddies.
Tuesday, November 15th, 2011 – Gary and Bev called early to say good-bye and then went to the Lido dining room where they knew we would be having breakfast to say good-bye again.
The cards on this page are the notices from the ship to set our clocks forward or set them back for different time zones. I always keep them and never know what to do with them! It somehow seemed appropriate to use them here, since our time on the Holland America Amesterdam has come to an end.
