I designed this 8 1/2 x 11 page for a recipe swap at a local crop. The tropical flower is a QuikKutz die. I used a star punch for the coordinating color behind the cut-outs in the flower. The leaves I fashioned by punching a heart, cutting it down the center, and using my Xacto knife to cut out sections. I used a couple of K&Co seashell stick pins in the floral clusters too. I couldn't find a pina colada glas anywhere, so I drew one on a piece of paper. Used the place covering from a recently purchased cricut cart and permanent silver pen to trace the glass onto the clear plastic and cut it out with scissors. I traced teh bowl of the glass onto yellow parchment paper and cut it slightly smaller for teh glass contents. I also sprayed the "pina colada" wth Pearl Glimmer Mist. It doesn't show in the photo, but in person, it looks icey! I used a scallop circle punch on the yellow parhment paper for the pineapple and cut it in quarters, then used a fine yellow marker to create the pineapple texture. I used a gold marker around the out edge and a thin brown marker between the gold and yellow. The cherry is just a hole punch from the coral paper with a bit of stickles. The party umbrella is a real one, just cut in half with a yellow cristal at the top. The recipe card shape was hand cut and teh recipe itself was printed on the computer on white cardstock (a recipe from my grandmother). I added a teal ribbon between the drinks paper and the coral background paper.
