'57 Chevy's - September Color Challenge & Page Maps Etc.

This is for the September Color Challenge (red, teal and color of your choice - I chose yellow) and Page Maps #3. This was taken at our local "Cruise Nite", which is actually a big deal in our town. I took this photo with my phone camera, and ran it through some cool vintage filters in PS Elements. Love the way it turned out!

The design was mostly done with the Silhouette -- titles, circles and retro designs were die-cut. I ended up using the negatives for the red circle since it just gave off more color in the center. I added some misting, stamps, buttons and washi to the mix, and then at the last minute, discovered this set of MME birthday papers that were all red, teal and yellow. So I cut the cardstock down to allow a PP border -- kind of a waste of paper, but it definitely pulls the whole thing together.

BTW, I have no idea if the car in the photo is a '57 Chevy, but that's the song that was going through my head the whole time we were at the car show. ;)
