Oh my! This is fabulous. The paper piercings add a lot. I really like the horizontal stripes at the top and bottom of the page. Very cute, and a great story!

Award Winning Pumpkin Pie, October 28, 1995 – Granny’s pumpkin pie recipe has always been a family favorite and is popular with everyone who tries it. This is my favorite family recipe. Because of its popularity, I decided to make a pumpkin pie using Granny’s recipe for the Best Tasting Pumpkin Pie Contest at the Pasco Farmers Market Second Annual Pumpkin Judging Contest. After sampling numerous pies and judging them on various criteria, my pumpkin pie won 2nd Place and I received a $15 gift certificate to the Pasco Village Market. The Pasco Village Market had all kinds of gifts, food, and collectibles. After looking at numerous items, I finally decided to buy a Russ teddy bear with the $15. This teddy bear had the cutest face and was the perfect color of pumpkin. “Pumpkin” appropriately named for his color and the award winning pie from which he came, holds a special place in our home as a constant reminder of Granny’s great pumpkin pie recipe.
