My project for the Page Maps ETC, Sketch #4.

No story that isn't the same as almost any other story of any other household on Thanksgiving day in America.

The year, 2008. I know because my mom is wearing her cancer head scarf. 2008 was the year my family got cancer. Mom is cancer free now for 4 years, but the trade off was that the treatment just ravaged her body and she's a shell of the woman she used to be.

Still, every day we have her is a blessing.

This layout is for a class that I teach at my LSS called "Praise Page." It's basically a faith based class, and this past few months we've been working our way through the 23rd Psalm. I didn't PLAN for verse 5 to be the feature verse for November, but things have a way of lining up the way G-d plans and not necessarily the way *I* plan.

The paper line is Simple Stories Harvest Lane. The flowers are a Sizzix Big Z called Flowers 3-d. The greenery is another Sizzix die. Nothing complicated here, but I'm happy with the way this page turned out.
