My dog hated the snow too. The only time it really snowed here while she was alive it was like pulling teeth to get her to go out to potty. I had to shovel a clear spot for her. Rotten dog! LOL I love your page.
Absolutely adorable! Such a wonderful story to scrap - your journaling is fabulous!!!! I love your use of papers and embellies, and the cute little owl and his quote in the upper corner!!!!!
This is terrific!...wish that was all the snow we saw !...love the design and what you did with it...all of the words/journaling---great! and the wavy there's no business like...---so cool! off of that photo!...great great job!...straight toMY FAVS!!!
What a really fun design and great way to incorporate journaling! I LOVE the owl on the flourish, which adds a nice winter feel to this layout. (Poor Rusty!)
Journaling reads: "This was our first winter in north Georgia and my first memory of seeing this much snow! On February 10, 1973, we got 4.5 inches of snow. I was so excited to play in it, but, not Rusty. He did not care for it at all. He stayed holed up in his house until the 'white stuff' melted away..."
This design is based on a Page Maps sketch. The owl and some of the words are stamped and pop dotted. The snowflakes are punched. The swirl, tree and title are die cuts. The braces are hand cut. Last, I added some clear glittler to the snowflakes. Thanks for looking...
