Looks like a spoon! Look forward to seeing your "snow" pictures if folklore proves to be true. I had an uncle who believed a lot of that type stuff and it often proves to be true.

Weather folklore claims that a persimmon seed can predict the winter. If you open the seed you'll find a hidden surprise. A spoon means lots of snow, a knife means a cold one, and if you see a fork.....mild winter.
