Give a Cheer
Paint all edges of the bookshelves and the lamp flourish with
Kaisercolour black and allow to dry.
Cover all the inside pieces with BRIC-A-BRAC and use ODDS on the
back and sides, including the butterfly decorative border.
Glue the bookshelves together then add pearls along the edges and
a thin piece of lace along the middle shelf.
Ink the wooden flourish frame and embellish with rub ons applied
to acetate, flowers and a quote.
Apply rub ons to a die cut then adhere to the lamp post. Decorate
the base of the lamp post with paper blooms, a ribbon rose and rub
ons.
To make the mini albums, cut a selection of Miss Match papers
16cm x 8cm (6¼“ x 3¼“).
Decide which paper you would like for the front and back covers, cut
this piece in half and adhere one piece to the front cover. Trim any
overhanging edges.
Keep the uncovered side up and place another wooden piece butted
right next to it. Take another strip of paper and adhere to the top of
these. Trim any excess and repeat the step for the remaining pages.
Adhere the piece for the back cover then use a small piece to adhere
along the spine of the book.
