The challenge was to make a bookmark that could be used as a tag, attached to a card, or just given on its own. I chose to make a bookmark and a card. I had to make the card base 6.5 in. x 5 in. in order to fit the bookmark on it. The bookmark measures 2in. wide x 6 in. tall. I used a die cut swirly label to put the bookmark onto. I forgot to get a picture of the back of the bookmark (I will upload one later). But it has a light blue background and a clear acetate sheet over it. The sheet has that sparkly pattern on it so it looks like little prisms all over it when it catches the light (or hopefully like snowflakes!) I also have a little sticker of a snowman on it that has that clear raised look to it (like glossy accents). The ribbon is mostly holding the bookmark on, but there is a small strip of temporary adhesive holding the top stationary. I also had to hand make the envelope to fit the custom card. The snowman on the inside of the card was from a little notepad that I had gotten for free in the mail from the st' jude's children research hospital. So I just fussy cut around it and used my atg to attach it to a cereal box and fussy cut around it again. It would have been much easier to just glue it down and then fussy cut the whole thing, but I didn't plan on putting the chipboard stuff on it until later. It pops it up a little bit and makes it much sturdier!
