Paint edges and front and back of all pieces. Cover the two outer sides and the top piece in FRANKINCENSE (reverse). Cover the sections of pieces that are visible as part of the inner box in DECEMBER (reverse), and the back middle section in YULETIDE (reverse). Cut out the cream “December” section from BETHLEHEM and the cream “tis the season” section from THREE KINGS (reverse). Reserve the numbered strip. Adhere these against the top and bottom edges of middle section, as shown. Assemble and glue unit together. Cover drawers in papers of choice. Cut up the numbered strip and use these to number drawers. Ink edges. Cut out the “December” square from THREE KINGS, and mat it on a rolled edge piece of DECEMBER (reverse). Adhere to middle of back. Embellish with wooden flourishes and pearl strips.
