I made this for the June Scrap Challenge. (Yes, I know it is still May, but I was excited to do this page and today was a holiday so I had the time, so it's done.) Every paper on this page is from scraps, even the map. (I'd used part of a small road atlas in another project.) The circular embellishment with the title on it is an AOL cd-ROM that I collaged over. I saw that idea in the book "Creative Scrapbooking" by Melody Lord and have been dying to try it. The file folder (also from scrap paper) opens up to an accordian file of family photos. That is shown in view 2. The journaling above the file folder reads:
Alabama is very lush and green but watch out for the Kudzu vines! They take over everything!
Label on file folder reads:
"Stars Fell On Alabama" is the state song.
