Very cool! I want to make one for a friend for Christmas and include some "vintage" recipes of my mom's from the 50s. Uch to the creamed liver and onions! Tinting is probably a good thing to do to that one!

Altered Lunchbox Tin for Recipes

Just the outside of the altered tin - still working on the divider cards & recipes. And I'm not sure if I'm totally done with the tin itself. It's for my recipe collection in my walls-totally-covered-vintage-advertising-tin-sign kitchen.
The top is a color photocopy of old magazine recipes my grandmother had from the 1950's (had nicely aged to browns over the years), then slightly tinted - good thing too since one of the recipes is Creamed Liver and Onions!
