I love this. I love the blocks of paper. The journaling around them. The flower on the paper is a great touch something I have a hard time doing on my own son's pages. Of course at the age of 14 I can't get him to much gardening with me anymore.
This is a great layout. I love the way you did the journaling (and the content of the journaling as well!), the blocks, and the nice big flower to set it all off. Great job!
This is beautiful! I love this design, and how you matched the colors so well. I like how the journaling wraps around the papers too, very clever. I'm adding this to my favorites!!
My son and his grandma this past weekend at the shore. Sorry for the blurry pic. I don't have a scanner.
Journaling reads: Grandma is always thinking of you. Everytime we see her, she tells you she has a surprise for you. This time it was a big sand-toy truck filled with goodies. You were taken with the little watering can and thought it was fun to keep filling it up at the hose. Grandma was showing you how to water the flowers to help them grow. And I just couldn't help thinking how much YOU've grown since last year. Thank you Mom for feeding my son's imagination and for helping him to grow with your love.
