oooohhhhh----fantastic, Deena!!! LOVE this. The journaling is perfection. You should submit this to SS Write from the Heart. It is so wonderful. CUTE pic too!!! You rock, baby!!!! ;)
I can totally relate to your journaling (once again!). As a matter of fact, I was just saying this same thing to a friend of mine recently! Little boys are a whole different "ball game" from little girls...but aren't they fun??! Love the photo and the way you designed the title to go so perfectly with it! Looks great!!!
OMG, Deena! This is *amazing*!! That photo is sooo adorable! Gonna have to lift that title! Your journaling is fabulous, too - I think alot of us can relate! The whole LO is just perfect (as usual!)!!
LOL!! Oh that picture is soo adorable! I've been waiting for the perfect picture to use that "title" with, I love it! And I have to agree with Davinie, moms do think alike. I was doing a LO last night about when we found out we were having a boy and my first paragraph sounds exactly like your first on this LO! Scary thoughts!! You're putting me at ease though
Adorable! I love the {Wanted}. You should check out my gallery. I just did similar journaling for my "Two Girls" layout..... We Moms think alike!
Fantastic! This is just the sweetest thing! I always struggle trying to find the words to write about how I feel for my boys, and you really hit it out of the park with this one. Wonderful journaling and the picture is perfect. Love the denim and rustic charm of this! Straight into my favs. Thank you so much for sharing!
I've been wanting to do this page for such a long time! And when I saw this photo, I knew the time had come! :)
Journaling reads: From the moment I found out I was pregnant with you, I knew in my heart you were a boy. Chalk it up to mother’s intuition, I guess. But to be completely honest, I was a little nervous about having a son. With Savanna, I felt like I kind of knew what to expect. I felt comfortable with little dresses, pony tails, Barbie dolls and fingernail polish. But with you, I felt like I was entering unknown territory…an uncharted world.
But all my fears melted away the instant the doctor laid you on my chest. There you were, a perfect little creature…my SON. I held you, kissed you, breathed in your baby essence, and just knew everything was right in the world. I haven’t had a doubt since.
And that uncharted world? Well, I think I‘m finding my way around pretty well. So far the journey has included overalls, bruises, planes, countless hours with the water hose, dirt, sticks, frogs, every type of sport imaginable, sneak-attack tackles, endless energy, and a couple of scary incidents with a baseball bat. And you know what? I am loving every minute of it. I’m so glad you’re my son, Skyler. You’re showing me a whole new world.
