Give a Cheer
Paint frame in Pale Beige. Cut up 2.5cm (1”) strips of PLAYFUL (front and reverse), BIRDY, GIGGLY (reverse),
GOSSIP (front and reverse), DAISY CHAIN, and SPRINKLES.
Adhere these to a backing sheet (any 12” sheet will do) edge to edge in diagonal rows. (If you trace
butterfly on to backing sheet first, you’ll easily see many rows you’ll need.)
For best effect, have each diagonal row contrasting with the next. Sew a zigzag stitch along all horizontal
and vertical row edges, then adhere sheet behind butterfly window.
Apply the rub on word below butterfly, then cluster doilies and flowers (ribbon and paper) with part of
rhinestone flourish in the lower left corner of frame.
Adhere two more clusters; one in upper right corner of frame, and one on butterfly itself.
