Thank you! The tag came from an office supply store. You want the kind that can either hang buy string or by the little safety type pin. They will have three holes across the top. That gives you more options to tie them together and embellish the book. I put two key rings and a large ribbon through the holes to make it easy to turn the pages and change the ribbon if it gets dirty. Good luck and have fun!
I'm in the process of working on a book of colors for my daughter whose name also is Selena by the way and our last name is Evans( I notice you have Evans in your tag ABC book), I love your ABC book and got me wanting to do one. I have to ask where do you get the ID tags from???? I love your ABC tag book!!!
Finally got this delivered to the boys! They loved it! We went through the whole thing and they of course were not interested in sharing the new book that had their pictures in it. But it was great to see them recognize everyone on each page. Especially their Nena. ;)
This is a great project I hope it inspires someone out there to try it too!
ABC Family ID Tag Book I made for my nephews. They will not 'forget' all the family faces between visits and learn the alphabet too!
I used clear ID tag holders, double sided cardstock (different colors on each side), photos and clip art printed as a contact sheet, clear packing tape to seal the items inside and protect them from moisture, 2 colored split key rings, and a piece of ribbon. This was a great project to make!
