This is Greenport ,Long Island , New York. Theres a lo several weeks ago with a pic taken a little after this. I started off wanting to work with flowers. Stems were all half off and i wanted something fallish and feminine. Then, it didnt seem like just a flower was enough, so i put the pic in, it was taken in September arond when fall starts. Thats my MIL in fact in the lower right, this is at a hotel on the water there . It was her 80th birthday, and this is where she wanted to spend it.I started putting colors together and it wound up looking like Halloween, so i added stuff to fit that. Thanks for looking and i hope you like it. This page took a looong time to make. I did a lot of embossing with different stamps, about 7. Very little of them show. I didnt like the way the Chinese lady looked so i put laces through her. 2 lions that i accidentally stamped on top of each other got a flower over them. 2 crows were upside down so theyre covered up. You can see a little of the peacock feather on the upper right. I liked a fancy border i used on the top ppr. Im debating if i want to post another photo i took today in more direct light, the sun was behind a cloud, it shows more detail of the green border on the top ppr. The green seed beads are strung on black thread, so are the big orange ones.
