This is a photo of a mud sculpture that we saw in the beautiful Lost Gardens of Heligan in Cornwal, England. This sleeping beauty just looks so peaceful and blended into the lush surroundings. The gardens are a thousand acres and has such an amazing story behind it. It was at it's prime in the 19th century and then was neglected for many decades following WW1, before being restored during the 1990's. A motto etched into a limestone wall reads "don't come here to sleep or slumber" with the names of all those who worked there under the date August 1914.

I wanted this photo to blend into the paper, just as she does in the garden, but I found she blended a little too much, so I ended up matting the photo. I have again used old stash and the pp is Prima. I cut the birdhouse from another photo taken in the gardens and added a mix of Prima and Green Tara flowers and Basic Grey Curio Chipstickers. The punch is MS Garden Gate.

Thankyou all so much for popping by...hugs :)
