You have scrapped this photo so well, I almost feel like I'm in the garden, with so many interesting details and layers, you've created depth and dimension. Love how you used the birdhouse from another photo. Great idea.
You have really created a mood with this page that so perfectly fits the photo. Stunning work! Thank you so much for the kind comment welcoming me back. It means so much to me to be missed by my dear scrapping friends!
This is so awesome... the photo still blends into the BG as you've only used a narrow edge. And the birdhouse is great. How big is the sculpture as we see it in the photo?

I have always wanted to go to the Lost Gardens of Heligan!!! I am green with envy! LOL!! However, I'll take the next best thing and gaze at this beautiful layout and soak up the beautiful atmosphere! Another amazing composition with lovely embellishment! The green background paper is perfect for the wonderful photo, everything works so well together, and flows so beautifully! Masterful work!!
This is a photo of a mud sculpture that we saw in the beautiful Lost Gardens of Heligan in Cornwal, England. This sleeping beauty just looks so peaceful and blended into the lush surroundings. The gardens are a thousand acres and has such an amazing story behind it. It was at it's prime in the 19th century and then was neglected for many decades following WW1, before being restored during the 1990's. A motto etched into a limestone wall reads "don't come here to sleep or slumber" with the names of all those who worked there under the date August 1914.
I wanted this photo to blend into the paper, just as she does in the garden, but I found she blended a little too much, so I ended up matting the photo. I have again used old stash and the pp is Prima. I cut the birdhouse from another photo taken in the gardens and added a mix of Prima and Green Tara flowers and Basic Grey Curio Chipstickers. The punch is MS Garden Gate.
