We had to make a card that could hold some small gift or treat in it... something that you might give to a neighbor or something. So I made a pouch inside that will hold a tea bag, a hot chocolate packet, a coffee single or even a small bag of loose leaf tea (which is what I did for this card).
I made the pocket on the inside and used a fiskars border punch on the inside edge of it to draw attention to it and expose the pocket. I then slipped a small scrap of paper under the edge of the pocket to give it more contrast and to define the pocket edge. I used my nestabilities die set to cut a little note tag for the left side where I wrote instructions for steeping the tea. I used a fiskars stamp set to stamp 'enjoy' on the inside of the card, as well as on the envelope to tie them together. I used a tim holtz die to cut out the ornament with "noel" written in it. I used a gel glitter pen to trace around the letters and the outside of the ornament to give it some extra sparkle. I didn't want to add too much dimension on the front of the card because of the tea inside already making the card bulky. Again, this would be for a neighbor or friend who you could hand deliver it to because you wouldn't want to mail it.
