See the oranges in the foreground? Those are Seville oranges. They were grown here when Arizona was part of Spain. (100 years ago this year) They are a very short tree and the oranges are very sour. They have two main uses, Orange Marmalade is only made this this kind, and Orange Meringue Pie. YES, orange meringue pie. It tastes almost the same as Lemon meringue and I hope I can find some and try it. (I feel I better not steal them from the park)
