Sparkle for the holidays! Easy to create, this handmade holiday card catches any eye with its glittery greetings. Emboss additional elements and cut them with matching Framelits die for a cool winter approach.
Cut cardstock to size and fold to form card base. Cut a piece of cardstock to fit across the card front, emboss using Ornate Ornament #3 embossing folder. Die-cut a circle out of patterned paper to fit the ornament shape. Emboss the phrase "Happy Holidays" and holiday branches onto cardstock. Align the corresponding Framelits die over the embossed images and die-cut. For ease of use, we recommend using a sticky note to hold the Framelits dies in place while shapes are being cut. Die-cut a Scallop Circle out of patterned paper. Embellish with glitter and attach to the card as shown, using foam dots to give select shapes dimension. Embellish with a decorative button.
