I made beads using paper scraps! I love them! I took 12" by 1" and 12" by .5" strips and cut them diagonally to make one rectangular strip into two triangular strips with one end being a point and the other being 1" (or .5", depending on which size paper I started with) rolled them onto a toothpick starting with the fat end. Then I glued down the last 2" of paper before I finished rolling it up. That holds the beads together. Then I took some mod podge and painted over each bead to seal it. I gave each bead three coats. They turned out great! I can't wait to make some necklaces out of them!
