Give a Cheer
Group portrait and dress rehearsal pictures from Cassie's recital in 2010 -- this is her Tap & Ballet Combo class. I had 27 photos from this dance, and I narrowed it to these 16 plus the group portrait for the LO. They tap danced to an instrumental sea shanty type song called Symphony of the Seas. The coordinating single page LO of her individual portrait is in my gallery in my 2010 and Dance LO's Albums.
I included the day & time the class was held, the teacher, the date of the rehearsal pics, and the names of the kids in the class in the life preserver journaling box, which I printed and fussy cut from an e-Cut I bought here on SB.com. I used rub-ons to put the name of the dance on as though it were a ship's name. I made each signal flag in the nautical flag banner from cs scraps and popped them with foam tape. They spell out T A P in international code. I used square metal eyelets to look like mooring cleats, and I tied the ends of the rope to resemble boating knots.
