I had not realized that you had a title page for your pages of the Lake. I would like the see the stitching throughout the whole two page layout and just not on one page. I feel like the slide-type embellishment on the left hand page takes away from the photo. I'm wondering what it would look like if it functioned as a place for the title and as an embellishment and having the photo stand on its own.

Perfect colors for pictures of a frozen lake. I really like the zig zag stitching on the left page. If it were me, I would add it to the seem of the two papers under the picture "bridge or the seven arches." These pictures are really very beautiful. The journaling is well written, too. Thank you for sharing!

Yes I totally agree with Amanda's comment on the choice of colors that match the modes. I also think that I finally figured out what makes your pictues so interesting. It is not very often that you see pictures from China in the middle of winter. I think all the pictures I had ever seen from China were of beautiful buildings, with flowers in bloom. You made me realize that there are four seasons there too. And you even make winter beautiful.
