This was an interesting layout idea. It goes beyond what one would expect to see in a vacation album. I enjoyed seeing how the young girls dressed there. It's interesting to realize that even far from us people are the same. Well scrapped, and as I've said before, very nice "paper" choices. :)
I would imagine that it was no problem to get Ruiping to take pictures of pretty girls. With men outnumbering women in China, women must be a valued prize.
are pretty everywhere. Chinese girls enjoy fashion as much as any other girls. They take fashion ideas from around the world, especially in Paris, and blend them into a unique style. Coats, boots, gloves, scarves and hats are part of life in Beijing, and are artfully woven into the fashion image. Chinese people often use bold colors.
These girls stood at the entrance to the Summer Palace for a while and ignored the flirtations of a young man who carried a big bouquet of roses. I thought they were high school girls and Ruiping thought they were college girls. I asked him to get photos of the girls. He stood behind me, with the camera on my shoulder, to shoot, so we could get pictures of them just behaving naturally.
