Awesome work. Love it, it all fits in with the uniqueness of the sculptures in the photos. What did you color the cogs with? Did you use the reverse side of the alfoil as I like the finish on it. And the ring pull from drink cans- now I'll be saving everything for my LO's. LOL
I love the shiny foil appearance, and the brads holding the photos look llike metal boltheads one might find on that rocket sculpture. For colouring the foil, have you tried alcohol inks yet? They give really awesome results on metals.
This LO has been sitting in my album sort of unfinished for a few mos now. I posted it in response to Ajsophios62's amazing LO called Destination Unknown that I love so much. I was sort of unsure about the way I wanted to color it but Angela has given me such great idea that I decided to make another LO using similar technique with the same cool title that I'll be posting shortly. As far as this page is concerned, I've been experimenting with different colorants such as nail polishes and metallic pigments. The photos are of my 2 rascals investigating a mind boggling sculpture of a rocket that we found in a small shop near Kingston, NY. The owner of it is an amazing artist who surrounded his little shop with mind boggling statues that he created himself from a scrap metal, including this cute space shuttle. TFL.
