I always put my journaling on the back of my layout. Sometimes it's on a pull tab, sometimes it's printed on white paper and glued on. But its there somewhere - because it's important. Thanks for asking.
Uh huh, rain . . . I'm jealous. None here in the land of the rocks and rattlesnakes. I really like the hopeful blue b/g paper, pretty blue flowers and your journaling tag. Apretty combo like that should surely bring more rain your way.
It is definitely a creative topic for a page. Coming from a place that has so many water problems (Chennai), I understand the pain of having no rain. Yo have scrapped this beautifully.
wow it looks awesome! love the flower cluster with the bow, and the tiny attachers (or are those actual stitches?) and the three lonely drops from the sky))
I hope you get more rain soon!
I didn't realize there was still a drought in your part of the country, that's so sad. Too bad you couldn't have some of our rain and snow. Beautiful lo and great lift, though.
Beautiful layout and wonderful description...I hope you get lots of rain. Love the layout and how you worked that ribbon..great design and cool photo. My dd2 was born during a drought...she was about 18months the first time she saw rain..I took her outside and the look on her face was priceless...panic and wonderment and her mouth kept opening and closing like a fish.
Stunning. The drought is heartbreaking and affects so many. Even here in PA, the cattle prices affect our little farm! I pray you will receive more. I may have to check out this mommarazzi, loving these die cuts.
WOW! Love these colors. Being close to ya, I understand your pain on the drought :( and why you would want to scrap it. When it rained once back last summer, I KNOW my little dog was even excited. Amazign lo!
You used the same BoBunny blue dot that I did - isn't it exquisite?! I LOVE that rich shade. This is beautiful, Pat. I love the design, the stapled tag, and the ribbon bow. Thanks for playing!
The page is beautiful. I love that you made it work for all of your challenges. Now that is talent!!! Glad you got some much needed rain. I hope there is more where that came from for you. It sounds awful.

I know, rain, right? But I live in the middle of the United States, right smack down in the center of the worst drought in recorded history. There's no wheat, there's no corn, there's no soybeans, there's no pasture, there's no hay. The ponds are dry, the creeks are dry, and the local river is well below normal. The cattlemen have sold all the cows they can afford to, the farms are being sold because they aren't able to keep them afloat. The local church has "pray for rain" posted on its marquee, and the television meteorologists begin each weather report with an apology. It's been horrible to watch.
Will this 3/10" be the beginning of a drought breaking pattern of rainfall? Only time and God can say, but at least for the short term, I have puddles in my yard and Cowboy paw prints in the mud.
For that, I'm grateful.

This will be my entry for the following Challenges:
2. PROJECT 52 WEEKS Challenge : This will be for my second week of my 2013 album.
3. Hoarders Challenge : I've been saving the Bo-Bunny MommaRazzi paper for the longest time. I've WANTED to use it, but true to a hording nature, I could never quit bring myself to cut into it. I still have plenty of it left, so my stash is safe. The flowers and alphabet Thickers are a pair of old Peachy Cheap deals, and the little blue roses are the last of a set that came in an old Swirlydoos kit. The ribbon - that's old too. I'm trying to use up the roll, but I know that I'll be sorry when it's finally gone. It's a great, versatile ribbon.
4. Four Categories Challenge - I think this will fit the #2 Category of 50% blue. I think I also pulled off the twist with blue paper, blue alphabet letters, blue flowers, and blue ribbon.
