First page of 2013!! Only took me two weeks to post it... not bad I think! This is my first page for Project 52 - Week 1. I still am not sure how I want my full album to look, but I wanted my first page to be about my resolutions as well as a little reflection. There is a hidden journalling behind the photo where the smaller snowflake is that reads as follows:
"It seems 2012 went by faster after you were born! Only yesterday we were bringing you home from the hospital, a tiny, sleepy little jelly bean. And now here you are at six months, an active, happy infant! At 21 lbs and 27" you tend to test our strength in carrying you, but it's worth it as you've started your own version of 'hugging' and it melts my heart every time you do it - even to other people like Daddy, Grandma, Tia, Auntie Kristin and Rosa. You smile to everyone who smiles at you and even those who don't, you just turn on your charm and they can't help but smile and call you adorable! This week you've started teething and, while the pain does bother you some, it doesn't wipe the smile off your face! That one little tooth that poked through during Christmas vacation seems to be generating a brother! We took you to your first birthday party on Saturday and you stole some of the spotlight from the birthday boy, Andrew! You were very Gymboree-d out that day! Love, Mom"

For Project 52 challenge as well as Page Maps, Cricut and Hoarders. These papers were from an old Scraps of Darkness kit that I loved and hoarded, but it's the Cricut cuts ironically that are the oldest and most hoarded! I cut the snowflakes, flourish and heart nearly two years ago at a crop before I got my own Cricut and have been saving them because I couldn't remember what cartridge they were from! Well I finally found out (Accent Essentials, by the way) and finally used them! The flowers are also about 2 years old...
TFL!
